Values

Both the content of CCDF's work (the projects we pursue) and our process (how our work is completed) are grounded in five key values held by our staff and Board.

• Abundance - We have benefited from the work of others in this field. We also believe that much of our work can serve as a catalyst for next steps and bigger and better developments. We therefore strive to share what we create in a spirit of abundance.
• Collaboration - We believe that partnership must be grounded in meaningful contribution, shared responsibility and mutual gain. We work to build strong partnerships with local, provincial/territorial, national and international groups to strengthen our collective activities and advance the profession.
• Innovation - We take pride in living on the edge, pushing limits, exploring new possibilities and getting behind issues in ways that can illuminate new pathways for development and improved service.
• Quality - All of our work is stamped with our commitment to excellence. We are utterly committed to meeting and exceeding expectations on all projects we undertake.
• Integrity - We strive to "live" career development, building a culture that is supportive of the life/work of our staff. We are committed to working in a way that is congruent with our expressed values. In this way, we always seek to "walk the talk" and to laugh as we go.
